Today marks the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Survivors came together in Hawaii to remember the 2,400 people who lost their lives in the surprise Japanese attack. The Pearl Harbor Survivors Association announced its national organization is disbanding at the end of December, due to the dwindling number of members. Today was the last time the national group organized an annual trip toPearl Harbor for the anniversary.

A look ahead:

Today additional charges were filed against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky with two more victims alleging he sexually abused them when they were children. Sanduskywas arrested and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13.
