Gun Sales Rise, As Gun Owners Now Fear MITT ROMNEY

Multiple gun organizations do not trust that Mitt Romney is for the 2nd Amendment. There are multiple reasons why, from the anti gun laws he passes, being endorsed by anti gun advocates, Romney currently admits he rejects the basic reason for guns which George Washington warned about, and so on.

“Sales of handguns and ammunition are booming across the country, and retailers say it’s all about the November election.”

Mitt Romney as “Massachusetts governor for raising taxes on guns by 400%

Gun Owners of American (GOA) rate the GOP candidates.

Newt Gingrich    C
Rick Santorum   B-
Ron Paul           A+

“Mitt Romney doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”
And that makes it all the more troubling that Romney refuses to answer GOA’s simple candidate questionnaire. In our more than 36 years of experience, a candidate is usually hiding anti-gun views if he or she refuses to come clean in writing with specific commitments to the Second Amendment.”

NGRA is also upset with Romney stating that:
“he signed a bill to ban an entire class of firearms.
Refused to fill out his “gun rights survey” (Same with Santorum & Gingrich)
“he received the endorsement of John McCain this week, who himself has recorded promotional commercials for anti-gun groups hell-bent on restricting our Second Amendment rights.”

Mitt Romney stated he does not “line up with the NRA.” Verified as TRUE
Also, the NRA is not what it use to be, and has compromised a lot.

Despite Obama’s NDAA Law targeting most gun owners as terrorists, Mitt Romney stated that he agrees with then NDAA law. That helped push for more gun sales. Many argue that Mitt Romney seems to want the opposite of the saying: “Any politico who’s afraid of his constituents being armed, should be.”~L. Neil Smith
The video explains about the NDAA.

Romney booed by audience for supporting the NDAA & defending Barack Obama.

Gun sales will rise more under Romney as president, for the same reasons guns sell well under Obama, as the links indicate. Would Mitt Romney take away Jefferson’s rights, in what he feels is best?
Thomas Jefferson:”If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so.” (Simplified: “If a law is wrong, not only is it okay for them to disobey it, but they should disobey it.”)

Penn & Teller on the 2nd Amendment, which seems to goes against Romney’s views.

See video of how “Romney in the past has self labeled himself a progressive. I remember Obama embracing the same word. Makes one think Romney would say anything to get elected. From progressive to Reaganite and his beliefs haven’t really changed.”

Judge Napolitano: The People vs. Mitt Romney

The Gun organizations understand that Romney draws a line when it comes to gun rights, by rejecting the main reason they feel.
“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”~ George Washington
“citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government…”Guns magazine
“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” ~Thomas Jefferson

The other gun organizations find the NRA ineffective when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. It seems that they find the NRA compromising its rules, to get rid of the some of founders reasons for having guns, to compromise for political reasons.

Before you vote, do not hear said promises, but look at the facts first.

Recently Romney attacks Obamas record on guns at the NRA.

“Notice that Romney offers no details about Obama’s record on firearms. There’s a good reason for this; Romney knows that Obama has not created new gun control laws, but he says it anyway.”
